So I was playing Earthbound (cuz it's my favorite game and I don't wanna do homework) and I got to Happy Happy Village and then went into one of the caves to go to the prison Paula is stuck on toget the Franklin badge from her and fight the cultists Pokey brings with him when Paula gives you the badge

Anyways, I had low HP and PP so I couldn't use PSI Lifeup to heal myself and continue fighting against the cultists (I had no food items either) so i ended up losing the battle and when i went back to the last spot i saved my game on in Happy Happy Village, I then proceeded to come back to aforementioned prison but Pokey and the cultists weren't there anymore (the cutscene dialogue wasn't triggering) so i think i pretty much got stuck in a loop because i cant throw away the badge Paula gave me and i cant just get another one from her so idk what I should do to progress
